Dr. Carter Huber
Hello! I grew up in La Porte, Indiana, about 20 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park. Throughout my childhood, I enjoyed spending time outdoors with my adopted Great Pyrenees, Lucky, who played a large part in inspiring my journey into veterinary medicine. I attended IUPUI where I received a degree in Biology and completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Purdue University.
During my time at Purdue, I expanded my veterinary experience by working as a zookeeper, lab animal researcher, and veterinary technician. I also developed a specific interest and passion for veterinary dentistry.
I joined Arrow Animal Hospital in July 2023, and am excited to get to know you and your furry friends! Working with every individual to tailor a plan that suits their lifestyle and animal’s needs is a vital and satisfying component of my career.
I have two (canine) siblings that live at home in Indiana with my mom (Hi Otto and Ellie!). My only human sibling has also dedicated herself to saving animals by working to restore coral in the Florida Keys. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors via mountain biking, dirt biking, hiking, and scuba diving. I also enjoy reading, going to concerts, and playing basketball.

Dr. Stuart Sherrell
I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I received my Bachelor of Zoology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University. After graduation, I moved to Arizona in 1985, and joined Arrow Animal Hospital & Grooming in 1986.
Over the last 34 years I have been privileged part of an amazing journey. We evolved from one hospital, to become one of the largest, privately owned, hospital groups in the country. We have a unique business, both in culture for our teams, and service for our clients. I am very proud of where we have been and where we are going.
I live in Phoenix with my wife, Stacie, my two youngest boys, Toby and Josh. We currently live with 6 pets, 4 cats, and two dogs. My oldest son, Aaron, recently got married, finished law school, and passed his Bar exam.
When I am not at work, I spend time mountain biking, hiking, and occasionally get caught in a Netflix binge.

Dr. Kent Livermore
I was born and raised in rural northwest Iowa, where I spent my summers as a kid active in 4-H, working on the farm and drinking Root beer floats to stay cool. After earning my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 1974, I moved to sunny Phoenix, AZ, and have been enjoying the beautiful desert ever since! I joined the AZPetVet family in 1994, working at Roadrunner Animal Hospital & Grooming for the last 25 years before transferring here to our Arrow Animal Hospital & Grooming location in 2020. I love being a veterinarian, and I am passionate about helping our clients and their pets.
My wonderful wife and I have been married more than 30 years, and we have three children and four amazing grandchildren. We also enjoy spending time with our Himalayan kitty, Bandit. My free time is filled with family activities, community service, travel, bicycling, and serving at my church, Pure Heart Christian Fellowship. I look forward to partnering with you in the health and care of your pets!

Dr. Erica Jenkins
I am an Arizona native who worked at Arrow Animal Hospital throughout my high school as a kennel assistant and then over the summers in college as a veterinary technician. I attended Colorado State University for my undergraduate studies and veterinary school. I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and then practiced on the Oregon Coast for three years. I returned to Arizona to re-join Arrow Animal Hospital in 2007 and became a partner in 2012. My interests include, but are not limited to, dermatology, behavior, and surgery.
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. In my free time, I travel and scrapbook. My husband Josh and I share our home with our wonderful dogs, Sam and Maynard. I am so happy to be back with my Arrow family, where I started, and I look forward to getting to know you and your pets.

Dr. Tracey Dutson
I was born in Buffalo, New York, and grew up in California. In 1996, I moved to Arizona in order to study Agribusiness at Arizona State University, graduating in 1998. While studying at ASU, I began volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society and a local emergency animal clinic. In 1997, I became a Veterinary Nurse at the emergency clinic. In 1998, I started working as a Vet Tech at AZPetVet Bell Ridge Animal Hospital. It was my first experience in the AZPetVet family – but not my last! In 2000, I went back to school to study Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University and received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.
Today, I am proud to be a part of the AZPetVet family again. My special interests in the Vet field include Dentistry, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and surgeries.
Life at home includes my husband Derek, and our daughters, Ashley and Tiffany. We have two pets – a 12-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Australian Cattle Dog mix, and a 14-year-old Flame Point Ragdoll cat. My hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, church, cooking and sewing.

Dr. Ken Prejs
I grew up in Scottsdale and graduated from Coronado High School. I earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Zoology from Arizona State University. I went on and received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University. I have practiced veterinary medicine in the Phoenix area for over 30 years.
While my primary focus is canine and feline medicine, I have a special interest in exotic animal medicine, including pocket pets, rabbits, birds, and reptiles. I believe all pets should have access to good health care and have earned over 250 hours of continuing education in exotic animal medicine. While in veterinary school, I was a Student Coordinator for the Raptor Rehabilitation Program, Colorado Division of Wildlife, and worked as a volunteer animal keeper at the Phoenix Zoo during the summers.
I am married to Dr. Susan Goshert, and we have 2 adult children. Our pets include 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 Amazon parrots, and a desert tortoise. I spend my spare time practicing yoga, hiking, traveling, and learning new music from my children.

Dr. Schuyler Burns
I was born in Glendale, AZ, but moved to Tucson when I was 9 years old. Shortly before moving, my family adopted my childhood dog and best friend, Bear, which is when my passion for animals began. As I got older, I realized how critical and rewarding proper animal health-care was for my dog, so I wanted a career where I could help deliver this same care to other pets. I began by attending The University of Arizona for my BS in Veterinary Sciences. While in school, I worked in two research facilities, where I practiced husbandry with many animals, including monkeys! I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, and joined Arrow Animal Hospital & Grooming in March 2019. As for my veterinary interests, I enjoy surgery (specifically orthopedic) and internal medicine cases.
I live with my Australian Shepard, Duke, and his (Golden Retriever) baby brother, Oliver. When I’m outside of work, I love mountain biking, hiking, and fishing - plus going to the trap and skeet range from time to time. I look forward to providing your pets with the best quality health-care they deserve!

Dr. Stephanie Wolff
I grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago until I graduated high school and moved to Arizona. I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biology from Northern Arizona University and earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University in 2020. I have worked in animal health for over 15 years, starting in 2003. During that time, I was a Certified Veterinary Technician, with most of my experience being in emergency medicine and research/laboratory animal medicine. My professional interests include feline medicine, emergency and critical care, research, and teaching. The best part of being a Veterinarian is that nothing is ever the same! No species, owner, or case is going to be identical.
At home, we have 3 cats: Athena, a 16-year-old Siamese, Riggs, a 13-year-old Siamese, and Squirrel (aka Booger), who’s all black and about a year old. In my free time I enjoy photography, camping, hiking, and exploring used bookstores. I’m a big Harry Potter fan and collect books from the series in different languages!

Dr. Emily Chetner
I spent the majority of my life in Southern California and attended undergrad at the University of California, Davis, where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science with a focus in animal physiology. After falling in love with Arizona during my time here in veterinary school at Midwestern University, I decided to make this beautiful state my home.
I currently live in Scottsdale where I reside with my three pets: A tortoiseshell cat named Smushy, a bengal cat named Snuggles, and a golden retriever named Monkey. Outside of work, I am passionate about helping the community and I volunteer frequently at my local Church. I also love to cook and attend sporting events, particularly baseball, and enjoy documentaries, audiobooks, and podcasts.
Prior to beginning a career in veterinary medicine, I was in business management for 13 years. My professional interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, and business management/ownership. One of the most rewarding parts of veterinary medicine is building relationships and solving complicated problems. I look forward to working with my community and ensuring their pets are happy and healthy.

Dr. Ji Kang
I grew up in Glendale, CA and attended Cal Poly Pomona’s Animal Science Program starting in 2009. Before joining Arrow, I volunteered at two small animal hospitals in California where I observed surgeries, client relationships, and assisted technicians. My professional interests include internal medicine and anatomic pathology. The most rewarding part of being a veterinarian is being able to help patients in need and give them the best care possible. It’s so rewarding to see a patient improve throughout the treatment process.
Back in California my parents own a pet grooming shop, so my four-legged family includes too many dogs to count, our cat, leopard tortoise, and a Mississippi map turtle. In my free time, I like to go hiking, mountain biking, and play games.

Dr. Lauren McEllen
Originally from Hope, New Jersey, I attended Richard Stockton College of New Jersey for undergrad and Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine for veterinary school. Before joining AZPetVet, I was a radiology technician while at Cornell and a general practice veterinarian for 3 and a half years at
Animal Health Services. Specific areas of interest for me include reproduction medicine and surgery. I enjoy working to foster good breeding practices to produce healthy, well-bred dogs and happy breeder clients. I also find using medicine and surgery to improve the quality of life for patients extremely rewarding, especially during follow up appointments or calls to owners where the improvements are seen!
I moved to Arizona after vet school and other family soon followed for the wonderful weather and opportunities Arizona has to offer! I have a papillon named Paxton, a beagle mix named Sienna, a crested gecko named Marcus and some assorted fish. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, hiking, photography, reading, gardening, and a variety of crafts. I also give talks at breeder clubs around the valley to teach about reproductive medicine.

Dr. Kristina Burgin
I was born and raised in Cranston, Rhode Island. After completing my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Rhode Island, I made the decision to leave the Ocean State for desert living. I drove cross-country with my dog, Nova, and cat, Cora, to attend Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. I fell in love with all Arizona has to offer and made it home. Since moving here, my furry family has expanded by two more dogs, Rhys and Scout. My profession interests include anesthesia, pain management, and behavior medicine.
Outside of work, you can find me enjoying the outdoors with my dogs. I also enjoy crocheting and lots of other crafts. As a new member of the AZPetVet family, I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

Dr. Lydia Bolduc
I am originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I received my bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of Maine in 2013. From there, I moved to Arizona to pursue a master’s degree in Biomedical Science before attending veterinary school as a part of the inaugural class of Midwestern University. I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.
My clinical interests include nutrition, dermatology, and arthritis management. When I’m not at the hospital, I love cooking, camping, craft beer, and spending time with my husband, Jordan, Pitbull mix, Daja, and 5 cats.
